This was an a still and motion ad for the Fiat Abarth car, which is running in this months ESPN magazine. It was my first attempt at doing my compositing style in motion. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at how we shot it.
Because they needed a huge print version as well as the moving version, we had to shoot with Phantom cameras along side Hasselblad and Canon still cameras, shooting mostly with hot lights (because we didn’t have time for two lighting setups). It was a challenge, but was a lot of fun. I’m hoping we get to push this style even further!
